Turn on the Bluetooth™ of your phone. Power off your hearing aids and turn them on after 5 to seconds, so that they are in pairing mode. On the list of Bluetooth devices available for pairing to your phone, you will see the Phonak Marvel hearing aids. Tap this to connect the hearing aids. Once connected, you will hear a connection beep, and you are good to go.
The Phonak Marvel hearing aids come equipped with Environmental Balance to maintain balance between streamed signals and sounds being picked up by the hearing aid microphone.
Phonak Marvel hearing aids are Bluetooth 4.2 certified. Your phone needs to have Bluetooth 2.1 or a later version. If you are using the Phonak Remote app, then your device should be at least iOS version 10.2.1, Android 6.0, or equipped with Bluetooth 4.2.
While the Roger™ microphones are not a necessity, owing to the signal-to-noise ratio, no hearing aids can work beyond a distance of 1.5 meters. Roger™ microphones help bridge the gap between hearing nearby and distant sounds in all types of listening environments.
