Frequently Asked Questions

When there is an issue with Bluetooth connectivity of the device, the device will attempt to re-establish the connection with the smartphone. In this case, your Phonak hearing aid might reboot and start again. However, this should not take more than 10 seconds. If this problem persists, communicate with the hearing care expert.

To get information about your local warranty, please contact your hearing care expert from where you bought your hearing aid. Make sure you enquire about all the terms of the local warranty. To obtain information about the international warranty, you can check the website. Generally, a one-year limited warranty is given from the date of purchase. However, this warranty is only applicable to the hearing aid and not to the charger cases, batteries, or external receivers. Moreover, this warranty only covers production defects. It does not cover issues related to inappropriate handling or lack of care.

The ‘Auto On” feature in your Phonak hearing aid might have been disabled. To turn it on, follow these steps:

  • Open the ‘myPhonak” Application on your smartphone.
  • Click on ‘Devices”
  • Click on “Auto on” and turn the slide on by moving it left to right.

Firstly, you have to check the signal strength of your cell phone. Make sure that there is no obstruction between your phone and your hearing aid. Moreover, check that the maximum distance of Bluetooth connection is not exceeded. Check the functioning of your phone, considering the hearing standard, and check the frequency of the signal.
